Twelfth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Jesus tells his disciples to fear no one, as he himself feared no one. Psychology teaches that we are a bundle of fears, including anxieties about health, relationships, and hidden aspects of our lives. We may also fear our position and how others perceive us. A friend’s father ingrained in him the need to project a false image of himself, leading to fear of being true to himself. A principal pulled jokes on his coworkers, causing them to fear their computer activity being exposed.
