The prophet Zephaniah speaks of the Lord’s presence and rejoicing. The Mighty God is in the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Elizabeth and Mary both received promises and cherished them. Christians receive the promise of God’s presence and witness His strength. Elizabeth is filled with the Holy Spirit upon hearing Mary’s greeting.
